Metform produces rollform lines specifically designed for tubular parts of varying design and thickness. These roll formers utilize in-line welding of the profile. Typically welding methods include HFI (high-frequency induction) for “butt welds” and rotary spot welding for “lap joints”.
Metform supplies its design of weld boxes and associated fixtures such as “fin pass” and “scarfing” tools.
Pre-notching may also be incorporated to eliminate secondary operations. Metform also supplies flying cut-off presses and die tooling for part-specific requirements
